What this tool is, what it is not, and your responsibilities.
What the service does
JournalFit AI reviews your manuscript against a journal's publicguidelines and produces a submission-readiness review: a simulated editorial critique, formatting and fit notes, and revised/redline documents. It is a preparation aid, not peer review.
AI limitations
- Outputs are generated by AI language models and can be incomplete, mistaken, or out of date.
- Journal rules are read from public web pages and may be misparsed or stale — always verify against the journal's own site.
- The tool does not perform peer review, statistical re-analysis, plagiarism detection, or any judgment of scientific validity.
- It cannot predict editorial decisions; “readiness” signals are heuristics, not outcomes.
Scientific integrity
The tool never alters your data, numeric results, sample sizes, p-values, confidence intervals, study dates, figure values, or citations. Citations that cannot be verified are flagged, not changed. Every journal-specific claim is tied to a public source with a retrieval timestamp.
No representation of the journal
We use only public information and never contact, impersonate, or claim any special standing with a journal or its editors. We do not guarantee acceptance, and nothing here implies a pre-submission decision.
Your responsibilities
- You must be authorized to upload the manuscript and to send its contents to AI providers.
- Do not upload identifiable patient information unless you have authorization and the system is configured for compliant handling.
- Review every proposed edit yourself. Final responsibility for submission remains with the author.
The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. See our Privacy Policy for data handling.
